Welcome to Global Programs

Through Global Programs, students can attend Model United Nations conferences, participate in campus events that focus on international relations, join an international relations club, attend local events centered on international topics, learn about study abroad options, or meet with an adviser to learn about careers in international development and diplomacy.

Model United Nations Conferences

Model United Nations (Model UN) Conferences are held all throughout the world. Participation in a Model United Nations Conference provides a unique opportunity for students to learn about international relations and the work of the UN, develop professional skills, interact with college students from other regions, and practice negotiation skills. Please visit the Model United Nations Conferences page for more information and details about participation.

Campus Events

Each year, Global Programs hosts events regarding international topics such as relationships between various countries, international public health, safety and security, and trade. Please visit the Upcoming Events page or see the list below for more details.

Study Abroad Opportunities

In Fall 2017, Highline College took students on a short term study abroad trip that provided a survey of the global economy through the lens of the emerging market of China. Please visit the Study Abroad Opportunities page for further details.
